CHART-TRACK Folio Management System

Click here to visit the Chart-track websiteCHART-TRACK is an advanced system of inventory management that enables vessels to receive the tracings and Notices to Mariners by Inmarsat. This effectively means that vessels will have this important navigational data much sooner than if sent by post. CHART-TRACK is supplied on a subscription basis, the cost of which is greatly recovered by the saving in time and the increase in safety.

CHART-TRACK is fully integrated within the folio management system and includes on-board software to make the management of your chart & publication inventory much simpler. The vessel's inventory is synchronised with a shore based server every week and we are therefore kept up-to-date with any changes made in each vessel's inventory.

With CHART-TRACK, you can easily select those charts and publications which are presently 'active' i.e. in current usage. This means that the corrections you will receive by Inmarsat will be specific to your 'active' charts only , cutting out the need to sort through the Notice to Mariners in order to find relevant corrections for your charts. Furthermore, only new editions of Active charts or publications will be replaced.

CHART-TRACK also provides cumulative correction lists for UKHO publications such as list of lights, sailing directions and radio signals. This considerably simplifies the process of correcting these publications by removing the need to read through a large quantity of back issues of Notices to Mariners.

CHART-TRACK includes an automatic chart correction log and a number of built-in controls allowing shipboard personnel to check easily, which corrections have been received and printed off, as well as the date of reception.

CHART-TRACK provides a traceable record of all activity surrounding the management and correction of charts and publications and therefore fits in as an integral part of a vessel's ISM procedures.

CHART-TRACK represents a major breakthrough in increased safety on board. It has been designed to be very easy to use , requiring the minimum of training but providing the maximum of benefits.

CHART-TRACK Manager allows password-protected access to all information regarding each vessel in a particular fleet. Managers can track all activities that have occurred on their ships with regard to update requests, print-offs, changes in inventory etc.
Added functionality enables managers to send orders directly to their chart supplier or validate orders issued by the vessel. These orders can also be tracked for status.
If so desired, the manager can be the one responsible for activating and de-activating charts on a particular vessel. A demo CD rom and brochure is available on request outlining the functionality of this exceptional programme.
